Grades and Oobleck and Headaches..Oh My!

Dear people's faces I shall call my diary,

Today my head nearly fell off from all the noise and heat. My headache is just beating me up!

Anyway, Grading is back! Today was a pretty good day, talking grades wise. All day, I swear I was going to go to sleep. Or throw up. Or have a spasm attach and just pass out from the need of sleep...or boredom.

Nothing interested me more today than my grades. I was marveled by them. Everything except for music was a very high A+. It made me extremely happy. And I got one of my math test back. Guess what... 100%. I'm feeling pretty awesome right now. I haven't been able to brag all day but that's only because I don't know or care about other people's grades (No offense but I don't want to get my feelings hurt or hurt some else's feelings.

Anyways, in science, we did a fantastic lab project. Making oobleck. I actually gave it way to a friend because it just didn't interest me enough but it was definitely fun making. Taking 5 spoonfuls of glue and 2 spoonfuls of watered detergent and mixing up in a plastic bag, then kneading it in the bag for at least 2 minutes, it get a "liquidish solid."Make sure to add food coloring if you want some color. This is actually a liquid, if made right, just to put that out there.

Well, I really hope everyone got back really good grades. Now I'm going to go take a nap.

Bad Hair Day

This had to be one of the worst hair days ever! My mom wasn't going to braid up my hair because it looked just fine last night. All pretty and curly. She said it could wait and that I was very capable of handling it (I may have edited what she said...).

Well, I got up this morning, my hair exactly like it was the night before. BEAUTIFUL! I went to the school bus, and everything was fine. I got onto the bus and bang! The humidity, the heat, the wind!

By the time I got to school my hair looked like that cat's hair --->

By the way, why do we torture our pets? Their not little dolls or mini humans that we can play with.

Anyways, that was my bad hair day. But the day in general was awesome! Maybe because I had to keep explaining to people why my hair looked the way it did. I made it funnier and funnier with each person.

School,Reading, and Reviews! Oh My!!!

Hey-yo, this is H. Long time,no see!!! Today I was just gonna give you guys a overlook on my week!!! (If you're even interested) First things first! School!!! My first week of school was WONDERFUL!!! I saw my friends, have great teachers, and I am totally awesome!!!(Not that that's relevant...) Any way, things were all fine and dandy until I got on the bus. I was just chillin' with my new friend I met and stuff when this lunatic kept bugging me!!! He was even pulling my hair!!! Which brings me to a topic one of my dear friends asked me to write about. BULLYING. Now we all know how calm and collected I am. :) So I really wanted to slap this kid.HARD. But I didn't because that would be bad... I also notice how they are becoming more strict about bullying. Which is good!!! I have to ride three different busses. One to get to the other. The other to get to school. The last one to get to the other school. Which is back to the first one to go home. It isn't as confusinf as it sounds. But our bus driver gave us a lecture about bullying. Which was good. Well on the first day and my confusing bus route. I was two hours late to school!!! Back to bullies. I can't stand bullies! Sometimes I will take my anger towards them and turn pity. Because if they think they're hotter than me I am obviously cooler than them. :) Yeah well... I will hit them back!!! Once I am off school grounds...they are all mine...MWUHAHAHAHA!!!

Now for the reading/review part!!! I am reading this amazing book by Cassandra Clare. Book One in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. This book is for anyone who enjoys books about magic and mystery. This is the summary on the back of the book:

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder—much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It’s hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing—not even a smear of blood—to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy? This is Clary’s first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It’s also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace’s world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . . . Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare’s ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.
Well peace out guys and check out City of Bones!!! I wish you the best!!! H.

First Day of School

Hey there! First day of school and I handled it like a boss!

This morning was just like an average summer morning only I had to get early and go somewhere. I didn't understand why everyone was so excited. I mean, I understand but the difference between school and summer isn't all that different.

Anyway, I'm a seventh grader now and I don't feel any different. Nothing special happen (except I'm making everyone call me Jay Jay). I love all my teachers and everyone is still cool.

Now the one different thing about me this year is I'm really antisocial. I just didn't want to talk to people at the moment. I wasn't avoiding anyone or just not speaking a word to anyone. I did say hi. But you know how you just want to be silent because you avoid a big clash or having to, I don't know, explain stuff you really don't care to explain? Yeah, that's why.

But I'm reunited with all my friends I haven't talked to in exactly three months and I'm really happy! I love the school and everything just seems like good luck right now.

Speaking of luck, I was wearing these shoes I hadn't worn for a while and felt something at the bottom of them. I didn't feel like pulling them off and checking so I just assumed it was a flat piece of word or a really small, smooth rock. So I was walking around, feeling awesome today and I get home, take off my shoe. And I find a penny!!

And H is on my back about this story I've been writing on Wattpad.com. My username is yaj1999 and you can read the story Where I'll Be and Searching for the Light. I have to say that the first one is way more interesting than Searching for the Light. And I'll be starting a new one real soon.

Warning: if you can't watch pg-13 movies, you probably can't read this story or most of the stories on this site.

I'll be trying to post regularly and I might even have to post on my kindle (which means no pictures). Let's just hope for the most posts!

Bible study

Dear people's faces I shall call my diary,

I told you I would start posting everyday! I bet some of you doubted me. Well, just because I haven't posted those shirts yet doesn't mean I'm a lazy, procrastinator! Well, sometimes it true. But the reason the shirts are not up for sale is because I need a lot of t-shirts, and I'm waiting to go shopping with H for them. And I still need a flash drive to transfer the designs of the laptop to the computer. So I'm not lazy, and I'm sticking to my promise of making them. It's a long process. After this one, I'm starting on another one. And that probably wouldn't take as long.

Today I had Bible School. Its like a school...were you study the Bible. Its actually way more fun then i excepted it to be even though some of the teachers are mean. I'm in the teen group so my schedule for the day is:

  1. Assemble Prayer- this is were we pray and do the Pledge. Then the head teacher reminds of the theme for all week ("Follow me and I will make you fishers of men) and then the theme for the day.
  2. Group work- this is when we go to our groups' main teacher and learn the lesson, discuss it, and read about it.
  3. Snack time- random snack time. Also considered Break.
  4. Music- We sing songs. Over and over and over again.
  5.  Art- the time when this lady just yells in our ears to shut up (but said in a mean, old lady version), and we fight about other people using our markers and paint brushes.
  6. Lunch- Eating time
  7. Get outta here!- Bye, see you tomorrow!

Sometimes they make us sing songs between ever activity, and make us, older kids (seniors), do it over and over again.

Today my mom came to get my sister and me early during Lunch. I had been telling my friends, Halo and Crazy Train (Train for short), about Baby and when they saw her, they freaked out. Train ran right up to her and started tickling her and talking to her. Once he heard her laugh, that was all he was talking about. Halo came over and asked Baby if she wanted a hug, and, strangely, she said yes. Halo held her in her arms, swinging her around. Then Train wanted to hold her, so Baby went right to him. And that's when Train started running around the room with Baby in his arms! It was so cute!

But, his teacher told him to put Baby down and called him over. She was a stern old lady and didn't look to happy with Train. I had Baby in my arms so I sorta forgot about him until I saw him hiding behind a pillar with red eyes. And I tried comforting him, to make him smile. I even asked if he wanted to play with Baby, but he said he wanted nothing to do with her at the moment. And that's when Baby came over (and I told her to give him a big huge), and gave him a hug.

Last Day was the Best Day

Dear people's faces I shall call my diary,

Let me tell you, today was crazy. First, I got hit in the head with a care bear today and that caused me to have to go to the nurse. Second, my stupid bus driver actually let us sit wherever we wanted, which was great. And lastly, I kinda like science a little more now. And wish I could stay with my science teacher the rest of the summer. I'm going to miss her.

So, let's start with first period. Ms. History took my class out to this outside classroom in the school garden. She let us dance, sing, sign stuff (that was not the school's property), and act as silly as possible. It was so much fun because all we did was take pictures and jump around and laugh. Everyone was happy for the moment even if some people were not even meant to be friends.

Speaking of which, do you guys (and ladies) remember Blue? Yeah, I haven't talked about him for a while. But he sure was being a jerk. He decided that we were officially not friends. I don't think he remembered when I told him the day before I didn't give a crap about him, but ya know, he had to say it to me. Not the other way around (cause that's just crazy!)

We played but then the bell rang. I also hope you remember Beatles. We both have theater classes right next to each other, so we walked there together. Yesterday, she had to wear a skirt. It was utterly hilarious! So we walked to 2nd period. In my class, we said bye to our never returning theatre teacher and played some games, because games are just fun!

I'm going to skip 3rd because it was boring. We did what we usually did: play guitar but I got one missing a string so that sucked. The bell rang and I went to 4th period. My science teacher, Ms. Science was at the back table and I came rushing over so she could sign my notebook. I waited for a long time before she actually signed it, poor me. After she signed it, I went to listen to my Ipod. I didn't want to talk to anyone, otherwise I would just get annoyed with their stupid hugs and goodbyes. So I'm sitting on my table and this guy called, Hobbit (He sings this song called "We're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard") threw a care bear at some one but missed and hit me. It didn't hurt, of course, so I threw it at his feet. I didn't know any better! He picked up the care bear and missed his target again. It hit my right on my right eye and a little bit above. And it hurt.

Ms. Science was going crazy. After I went to the nurse, she was hugging me and making sure I was okay. My head hurt so much. And she made feel so much better. At that moment, I felt like I had really missed out on something. I mean, she has always trusted me and has taught me things I would never have imagined learning. But I felt like I could have been more than just a trusted student. I could have been her friend and really gotten to know her beyond the "science teacher."

5th period's E.L.A, we finished this long book we were reading. It was called "The Wednesday Wars." I absolutely loved the book and hope to read it by myself once I get the chance this summer. In 6th period's Math, we played bingo. I hated it. But I then got to escape to Ms. Science's room so she could check up on me again to see that I was still alive. Of course, I was just happy to talk to her again. 6th period is our last period of the day so I stayed there for the rest of the day. But I did have to go my stuff from the math room!

Happy Summer. I'm working on the shirts. I hope that you guys will email me and tell me about your days. Maybe I can compare!

Jay

Ps. On the last of school, it seems you stat to really miss the stuff you have. And people neeed to suck it up and stop crying! (H was sobbing ;)

And to Ms. Science, I just wanted to let you know that wherever you go, you are always in my heart. And I wish I could have really appreciated you a little bit more than I did before it was too late. I now, I don't know what to do because your leaving. No one has ever made me feel so smart and wonderful in such a small way. I wish you didn't have to leave. Just remember me please.

Books

"This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."-Dorothy Parker

Hey everyone!!! H is here! Don't kill me, I know I haven't written in forever! So today I am writing an extra long post about. BOOKS!!! (Oh how very interesting...) Shushies!!! I know what your thinking: "BOOKS!!! HAS SHE LOST HER MIND!!! I JUST GOT OUT OF SCHOOL!!!!" Well suck it up!!!
Anyway...books are just. Indescribable (What a nerd...). AHEM!!!
Books are passageways to things only our minds can think of. They are our escape. You have no idea how much books have influenced my life. I write this because sadly today was my last day of school. ;( Teachers as you may know encourage reading. Thus we have our dreaded summer reading! The GiverLois Lowry. (Comment or e-mail if you know what I am talking about.)
You know what I am feeling lazy as usual so here is a great song by Coldplay-Viva La Vida
I love this song. Have a good summer & don't forget to ....SUBSCRIBE!!! (Its Free!!!)

Talent Show

Dear people's faces I shall called my diary,

Recently, I have been using the Videos and Photos tab to talk about this talent show at my school. I guess schools these days are totally into talent and what people can do. But that's been happening for years and years so, I have no room to talk!

Anyway, the school is having a talent show. I had to beg H to sing "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. She wanted to do "Crazy Train" but I just didn't exactly feel like singing that song. So she did that wit some other girls. When, I got her to sing, it was awesome. I loved practicing with her because she has such a beautiful voice. She can hit all these high notes I would never dare to hit though I can hit low notes she probably never tried to sing. It was fantastic! Until we got to the audition.

At the audition, she was nervous in a none nervous way. I mean, I was definitely shaking and thinking to myself, "You're not nervous, you're not nervous." I didn't know what else to do. I had to get over the fact I was being judged by my  teachers and standing in front of other people probably joking and making fun of me. I just had to think of something else. But H seemed to take it so well, even though she was freaking out. Which kinda annoyed me. I just wanted to tell her to calm down and possibly shut her mouth if she couldn't stop worrying.

I didn't shake. I didn't worry. I didn't think. At all. I just wanted to get this all over with so I could go cry in a pillow. I sat through all the other performances that were much better planned than H's and I's choreography. Some could probably sing better than the two of us not nervous and itching to get out. Some probably were just better than us.

Our names were finally called. I felt kinda cool in what I was wearing. I felt invincible. Like people that wear sunglasses at night. Just that cool.

The song started and I started shaking once again with every movement. I know. I 'm so wimpy. I mean, come on. I perform on a stage in theater for much more people than just 30 people. I would have thought I could get through this itty bitty little audition without shaking and having a cracked voice. I just couldn't do it. I really couldn't!

But I got through it. I felt humiliated. But H was standing next to me smiling. So this made me just laugh. It wasn't like I was going to cry or something. It was just for fun. I knew I would be lucky to get in. And my chances shot up when H decided to help me. But still, our chances were slim.

But, now, I had another audition with H's other group because they really wanted me to help. So I did. I definitely could not keep a straight face through this. Afterwards, I laughed it out. "Crazy Train" was just so funny to sing and think about. I knew my chances were sooooo slim.

Anyway, today, I checked if I got in. And guess what! I failed!! I did not get in. I bet it was all my fault!! Epic Failure. But I'm so happy today about it, its more like a win! So good for me!

Jay

p.s. I'm going to start doing these videos with stick people. It might just be cool. So look at the other tabs! And happy Mother's day!

Happy

Dear people's faces I shall call my diary,

Today was actually a really awesome day. I did have a huge test today, but of course, I went through that pretty quickly. State test are way easier than the test our teachers give us!

So anyway, I mean, I guess the only reason I am so happy is because I haven't talked to too many people today except H and some other. If you haven't guessed, I just don't like other people. They cause problems. And I know I'm the one who makes a problem affect my day, I would just rather stay away from those who make problems.

What made this possible? That state test. We sat in complete silence! Awesomeness! I could finally read my book! Then, our class was just 30 minutes. That was just fantastic!

The horrible things about my day was the fact that there was a freaking cold front today. You see, kids, when a warm front sits in one spot for a long time, a cold front might come and push the warm front up, causing rain! Horrible thunderstorms that almost get you killed on a bus! A bus! I was praying to God that I would not spend my last moments on a yellow vehicle.

But what cheered me up quickly was the fact that H wanted to sing away the fear (really, she just wanted to die singing), so we sang whatever song came to mind until the principle at the "other school" told us to get on our buses home.

That's when I was really scared. I was happy but scared. I didn't have H on the other bus. And I was completely surrounded by guys (Except for this really annoying 8th grade girl who thinks she is all that). And, plus, this bus driver pays to much attention to the people on the bus instead of the road. Which is NOT fun.

I did, fortunately, make it home safely but my hair was a big PUFF. Which is not that attractive to the eye.  But who cares. My day was still A-MASSSS-INNNN!!

Jay

p.s. tell me about your day

Heartbroken? Just a Bit

Dear people's faces I shall call my diary,

Tuesday was one of those days were I wished they just didn't happen, if you know what I mean. My crush, the one I actually fantasize about and write his name in super loopy and curly letters, was a complete jerk.

To protect his identity and my own dignity, I'll refer to him as Blue.

Let's begin with when I got on the bus that morning. Not many people ride the bus me ad H ride because it's the early bus and apparently, everybody wants to be late for whatever reason.I may sound like a nerd, but I would rather get to school early and study than talk to my friends. My friends aren't going to bring my grades up one bit! Anyway, we're all sitting on the bus, talking. H and I are discussing the external design of the blog, others are singing or smacking-talking one another and ect.

We finally get to school and I'm still talking to H. She has some money to go to the school store. Now, in the morning, we go to the lunchroom so she can eat some breakfast and I can get milk occasionally. But instead, we went to the school store instead and then the lunchroom. As we were just about to go to the store, I saw Blue. That's when I automatically dragged H into the building. I don't exactly know why I did this. It's not like he could see me. I didn't want to see him, period. I should have taken that as the first sign from mother nature.

After hearing the bell go off for our first class of the day, Ms. History, we went upstairs to our class together. Ms. History had been rearranging the desk multiple times so we students could basically sit next to anyone, which excited everyone. So, H and I found a spot next to each other. My other friend, Beatles, was practically forced to sit next to Blue which made me shed a quick tear for her. (He steals pencils and stuff).

Now, Ms. History gave us a four corners statement.  Just to let you know, my class debates are taken very seriously. So when Ms. History said get into your corner, you know people were not playing around. Its almost like going into war...with a textbook and a pencil. Possibly a notebook or piece of paper.

Anyway, very long story short: After class, when the debate was over, all he did was yell at me. He wouldn't shut up! I mean, maybe my idea wasn't right (even though I sure I was right), but you don't need to follow me, shouting in my freaking ears!!

H was just about to punch him straight in the nose. Who could blame her?

What do I do? Jay

Grades

Grades suck. Its a simple sentence. And I bet everyone agrees with this statement because they definitely do suck. The only time a kid should actually be excited to get their grades is... well, never. EVER! Maybe in preschool. I mean, these letters on paper don't exist there. Do they?

I'm writing this because grades most likely irritate everybody. If your grades are too low, your parents are going to kill you. A matter a fact, too low for parents is like a B+, so we're all dead. If your grades are too high, your considered a nerd. Bright side is...your considered a nerd. Enjoy your nerdness alone, because your too smart for the rest of us! (Don't take this personal. I'm a total nerd. Trust me)

Also, I hate those people who rub their grades in your face. Its so annoying particularly when your grades are better than theirs. Then there are those people who cry and whine about them. Your grades is your own personal problem, so go cry to your dog but not me. Or FIX 'EM. Either way, its not my problem.

Grades are no fun, I'll tell you that much. But the real nice thing about them is when your mom is hanging it up on the refrigerator, and your dad gives you a high five. That's nice don't you agree?

Jay
