All Alone in Walmart

Hello you beautiful balloons! I would like to tell you a story. I know I didn't post on Valentines Day but I honestly don't care.

\_/ <- You see this?

That is my cup of cares. Notice that it is empty.

(Actually I was going to post about Forever Alone Day but I was too busy having fun!...Also because I was too lazy.)

Anyway I want to tell you about my first time as a child being left alone by myself in Walmart.

At the time I was six or seven and life was just beginning to show its' true, mean, and ugly face.
It was a time where everything I wore was pink and purple and my older sister and I actually shared clothes.

 That time was over.

My little toddler mind refused to accept the fact that the world was becoming a house of horrors.
So, there I was. Standing in Walmart ,even as a junior, reading books in the book section.
I didn't hear my mom say she would soon come and get me or that she just needed to go grab a jug of milk.
So I was standing there lost in a Junie B. Jones when a gruff voice interrupts my train of thought.

"Are you lost?"

Now the voice sounded very much like one a person would of someone who ate staples and swallows a big ole cup o nails to finish it off. Because we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
The guy had raggedy clothes and a beard and he kind of smelled like pee.

So I was just standing there and looked around for my mom, because she was the one who answered the questions for me.

When I realized she wasn't around I did the thing any child who was lost would do.

I screamed like a fool.

Screaming was an understatement. More like howling like a banshee and siren crossed together.
And by that time I was thinking of all the horrible things that could happen: the strange man could yank me away from the two pigtails sticking from my head.

They were the kind of pigtails that were like helicopter blades, if they could spin fast enough I would've flown away!

Then I fell to the floor and cried. Right in front of the guy. He tried to help me up but I just kept flailing and falling on the floor.

Eventually he ran away from my strange demonic child screams and ran away before he thought I would open a portal or something.

I was all cried out and sniffles emitted from my little nose.
My mom came back and we checked out our groceries and to this day I see scraggly beard man whenever I go to Walmart.

Wreck This Journal

Hello my lovely friends! Hay is here and she has something fun for you!!!

It's called Wreck This Journal by Keri Smith!!!

My friend showed me this and I loved it and ran to the store and bought myself a copy!
I thought I would share this with you guys because I feel that every once in a while you need to let the imagination run wild and this is the perfect creative outlet.

I posted a few pictures below and I just want to say my Wreck This Journal looks extremely neat because as a over extensive reader and a lover of writing it was difficult for me to begin defacing a book- even if its purpose was to be broken.
This is my journal before I began beating the snot out of it. :') It was so beautiful!
This is my journal a little bit into the process of wrecking. It currently looks like this now  but I  shall continue to wreck!
This is one of the first pages. I just want  to show you a few so I won't spoil the book for you!
Here is my cracked spine... this hurt me to do.
I made this page all sunshine and rainbows! My friend keeps telling me that I need to actually wreck the journal and not turn it into a piece of altered art but I can't help it!I LOVE BOOKS TOO MUCH!!! :)
This was painful. I gave it to my friend and this is how it came back! :) I was kind of scared on how she did that without making a sound...
If you can't read the page it says:"Ask a friend to do something destructive to this page.Don't look."
I'm glad I didn't look... I probably would've been scarred. :D
I colored this page too. :)
This was the hardest one to complete. If you are a reader you know to never put your books
(or e-reader as a matter of fact)
into water. I didn't actually shower with the book (I  don't have that much willpower) so I just turned on the shower threw it in and sobbed. (Just kidding about the sobbing part! ) :)

All in all I have to say this book is pretty fun for me and I do recommend it! You can get it on Amazon and find it at Walmart and Target. Check around online because they are everywhere!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have a wonderful weekend! Au revoir!

Beautiful Creatures

Hello my lovely friends! Hay here and I want to tell you about my new favorite book, Beautiful Creatures!
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margeret Stohl is a book told from the point of view of Ethan Wate, a teenage boy with dreams that reach far beyond the small southern town of Gatlin.

Ethan starts experiencing strange dreams that are scarily realistic and involve a girl he's never met before.

Then she happens to move into town.

Beautiful Creatures is a wonderfully crafted love story that involves the perfect amount of voice, action, lovey dovey stuff ;), and enough cliffhangers to keep the audience intrigued.

I absolutely recommend this book and give it the highest score I could give!

10 out of 10!

The cover of the book!I took this screenshot on my phone! :)
This is one of my favorite books and it is flawless, and dark, and just...beautiful!

I am reading the rest of the series and this would have to be one of the few cases where I say the sequels are just as good as the first book.

I am also very excited because they are making a film adaptation of the book that is to come out on February 14, 2013!

Watch the trailer below and for any other information about the movie check online and I suggest IMDb!

Alrighty guys! I hope you choose to read Beautiful Creatures! Adios!

Downtown

I was with my family and we decided to continuously venture downtown.
I love downtown because you find the most amazing things and people.
Where you go you're sure to find something that rings your bell and collects your attention.
I saw a lot of music acts and ate delicious food.
There was a man with a sweetgrass basket playing his keyboard on the edge of a crosswalk, there was a father and his daughter playing some country music on guitar and violin, and a guy painted all white who played a song then stood still for hours!
I feel like you find the most amazing things when you venture out a little.
Happy New Year! Remember to live life to fullest and explore! There are some amazing things out there you just need to find them.

P.S. The picture below is the guy painted in white playing guitar! Pretty cool!

Music and Other Inspirations

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."

                                                                                                                                     ~ Plato ~

Has a song ever changed your life? The answer should be no. The song ITSELF doesn't change your life, it's the message it sends. Even more the feelings the message gives off.

I think music is a little bundle of human emotions that crawls through our ears and slowly seeps into the soul. Like drinking a cup of cocoa on a cold stormy night. It warms you.

I find it amazing how we can capture emotions and put them into words. In all the famous works of writers, poets, and musicians. The brilliant artist and there ability to reach someone. As if art isn't a thing we have to create but a life itself.

I know everyone has felt connected to a song at least once in their lifetime. Where you get chills or you fill like a burden has been lifted off your back or you've never been happier at any moment in time while said song is playing. That river of sounds and frequencies flowing through your ears.

It is amazing. Addicting and healing.

I could go on and on about how much music could change a person, but I couldn't tell you why or how.

That really is an interesting question: What does music do to the brain? How does it and why?

I figured it was now or never. It is time for a thorough investigation.

I made a list of things I know music can do, things I have personally experienced.

1.) It brings people together.

I have had my share of music and I've had my share of life changing songs. I figured as a musician myself it was a mutual feeling between me and music. Until I shared a song or two with my friends and family. Some of those inspirational songs that make you feel like you could rule the world. I experimented, by playing music without lyrics or vocal. I figured: Maybe it really is the literal message.

Until I began playing piano. It really is the best feeling. Aside from the usual irritation of not being able to play a chord or normal anxiety before playing in a recital of course.

That was the first seagment of Music & Other Inspirations. Hope you enjoyed it and expect some more. I hope everyone had happy holidays and I can't wait to see you in the new year of 2013! Thanks for sticking with us! -Hay

'Facts' to Blow Your Mind

Hey everyone! Hay here and today I felt the need to post so I have created a challenge for you guys.True or False? 100% true!

I am going to list five 'facts' and you have to GUESS if it is true or false. This is going to go over time starting today and ending in December. One for every week.

So, today's fact is:1.) On the average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily.

Now you tell me: True or False? (Yes I do know the answer.)
Rules:
*You have to purely guess!
* You cannot look up an answer or ask anyone. THIS IS CHEATING!!! :)
*YOU HAVE TO GUESS!

Alright guys that's all for today! Stay awesome!!!!

                                                                                                                             -Hay

Chain Letters

Hey everybody!!!H is here!Today people insist on avoiding  physical contact...So everyone uses Instant Messaging,Texting, and, you guessed it, E-mail.Everyone knows that e-mail has to be the main source because for those elderly-ish people who just have a hard time knowing and learning new communication methods.Kids we pretty much rule the internet. So we always do annoying and dumb stuff to get on peoples nerves...One we all know Chain Letters!!!
1.) The classic letter is " Forward this e-mail or..."
Creepy face in your inbox :)
a.) You're gonna die
b.) (Tells creepy story) Then they say the demonic demon thing will be in your room and twelve' o clock Creepy face in your inbox :)
2. The letter that says something like forward if you feel bad for so-in-so, if you don't you are cruel with no heart.
3. As always petitions. Like: Girls vs. Boys Sign your name at the bottom  as see if we girls can get 500.Those are really the classic chain letters. I can't stand chain letters because they are wasting space in my inbox. I will say one thing though, chain letters really get paranoid people. My friend used to forward EVERY CHAIN MESSAGE SHE GOT!!! She was just that paranoid... Well see you guys later!-H

Cool Things To Do For:Halloween

Hay here! Well we all know what spook-taculiar holiday is coming up! It happens every October 31st and it is called Halloween! Most creepy people enjoy Halloween because they can dress like they normally do without being stared down. Also if you are reading this and you're a hobo. (I don't know how a hobo would have access to Internet but...) This is a perfect time for you to get free food without people yelling: "Get a job!" Today I am going to list some cool things to do for Halloween.

1.) Make your own costume. If you are in fact reading this you are probably too old for Halloween anyway, well your parents might say, but in the mean time they usually don't want to spend money on costumes i.e. you make your own. Comment in the comment section and tell us what you are going to be for Halloween!

2.) Carve Pumpkins
I don't really feel the need to explain this. It is pretty self explanatory. What I will do is tell you WHY people used to put out pumpkins. Back in the olden days people put out pumpkins for there scent.(Not our sweet smelling Pumpkin Spice candles.) They believed that the smell drove away evil spirits like vampires and witches. Pretty cool.

3.) Decorate
Many people decorate for Halloween. A few even have silent competitions with their neighbors to see who has the best decorations. :)

4.) Make Cool Food
I just love cooking during holidays! The reasons you would want to cook for Halloween:
a.) If it goes horribly wrong you can still feed it to people!
b.) You can get really creative! If you have Pinterest account you will find tons of Halloween snacks and treats that are really easy to make.

5.) Have a Candy-Off
If you do in fact go trick-or-treating with your friends see which one of you can get the most candy. When your legs feel like spaghetti go inside sit in a circle and count after you determine the winner go around trading candy! (Maybe sneak a few pieces...)

Well those Cool Things To Do were all very typical but we all need a refresher! I also want to put out there make sure you are safe. Don't get arrested. Don't talk to strange people. Do NOT eat unwrapped candy!!! For crying out loud make sure you use your common sense. I think we at least all want to see the age thirty! Toodles!!!!
